Hi. Got a lot of things to say today! Cause it is the day of misfortune…

Kayaking
Anyway the day starts with the normal kayaking. Today was kinda fun, we used the swimming pool and we got two new instructors again… yong hui and rose. Lol. Maybe because of the fact that we are advancing to 2 star courses liao. Then was kinda surprised that besides Isaac, mr tancw is also joining us! Haha basically today we did more capsize drill… beginning to like it liao. Haha and today all of us wore skirts for the first time! Lol no lar, we wore spray skirts, something used to cover the cockpit. And we did capsize drill with that. Haha we also learnt to ‘un-capsize’ our kayaks after we have capsized. Haha so today was quite fun lor. But once Isaac capsized my kayak. Then I retaliated… splashed him with sea water just as he opened his mouth. Lol he swallowed a mouthful of the salt water…

Bowling
After we washed up, it was about 2.30? So Isaac, yh, jx, basil, some sec 3 seniors and me decided to go bowling. So we all went to marine bowl. The sec 3 seniors got a lift from mr tan, while the rest of us walked there. After some 15 minutes of walking, we finally reached. But alas! We found out that we could have taken the free shuttle bus! Haha but okay lar, we learnt a lot of experiences from Isaac during the walk. We were talking about aphelion, proed, ortus, radix, quest… Haha he said that quest once contained the lousiest bunch of students. And aphelion students are best in computer studies and maths! Quite true I guessed… Anyway he also talked about his experiences at OBS.

So we went to bowl. At first there were no lanes, but we finally found one. Anyway the place and facilities are really really old. So the 5 of us bowled in that lane. Whoa. That place really is cursed! Haha I did not perform too good today, although I made a lot of curve ball. But the ball always curve the wrong way! In the end the score was pathetic. Isaac was so good at first! Strike a few times and spare too. Anyway the system sucks. It was so very lag. And it always knock down an extra pin when it clear away those knocked down pins. And the scoring system got a lot of problem eh. Jx hit only 1 or 2 pins and he was given a strike! Haha. So in the end all of us very sian so we all anyhow play. We started doing bo liao stuff… took the ‘16’ ball and rolled it down the lane at a super slow speed. Haha kinda funny…

While bowling halfway, my mother called me and said that we have to go attend a dinner in furama hotel!! And she told me to be back by 6! It’s so sudden lor. But it was already 4.30 when we finished bowling. Hmm. Went to mcdonalds and later walked to a bus stop to take 196.

Going home
Haha took a double decker 196 towards bedok interchange. It just so happened that the match between li jia wei and that korea guy was on air! So we watched… first match li won… but we reached bedok interchange liao. So we alighted. And we were like deciding how to get home. Then suddenly we made the craziest choice! We decided to take 196 again towards clementi then take 184… But the main reason was that we wanna catch the live telecast of the match. So we did. Haha was happily watching until li was leading 3-1! But then when the bus passed nicoll highway, the screen suddenly blacked out! The conductor had turned the tv off! ALAMAK! Climax leh!! Only one more match to win!!!!! Then we started smsing people to get the latest results.

Soon the bus reached shenton way. Yh, jx and I alighted to take 700. But we alighted at the wrong stop, 700 on that direction is going back to marina! Began a frantic search for the bus stop on the opposite direction. Walked through lau pa sat, then around republic plaza and republic plaza II before finally finding the bus stop. Looked at watch. WHAT THE… 6.30! Mother’s gonna skin me alive liao. Waited for like 20 minutes. Haha somehow we went to study the arrival times of 700. That was when we found out that 700 will terminate service after 1300! And mother called me and scolded me over the phone. Then the three of us decided to take a taxi home. Haha later we found ourselves lame, going around like siao and later ending up in a taxi. But we received news that li lost! Sigh. We were showing such strong support for her but yet… But she already gave her best lor. Good job li! You did us proud!

The taxi driver took a long route eh. He could have turned right into cashew road. Instead he went straight. Nevermind… but he could have made a u-turn and turn left into petir road. But he turned right and went straight instead. In the end the fare was $14.50. Very ex eh. Reached home at about 7.15. Got scolded again lor. Then took a quick bath and went out again at about 7.30.

Dinner
Reached furama hotel at about 8. Began a frantic search for ‘hai du’ restaurant. But cannot find it anyway. So we went to the receptionist. And then he said it is in Apollo center! So we when we finally got there, it was 8.20 liao. Some of the dishes were finished, haha but luckily still can get a share of shark fin.

Just reached home now. Hmm. Been out the whole day I should say, from 0600 to 1130. Haha kinda tired now. Guessed I better go to bed. Haha today had been an unlucky day… but at the same time it was an eventful Saturday. Although I have wasted a lot of money and time...

Okay, signing off liao. Yawn…
