hi.. back from batam. it was kinda fun lar.. altho there isnt much you can do there. but the hotel is damn nice lar. very cery comfortable. very relaxing there. anyway shall jus post briefly wad i did there..

first day.. left for batam from harbourfront. 45 minutes ferry ride. den reach batam and saw this really nice building.. like those wooden huts lidat but its 4 storeys tall. haha dats the ferry terminal. so went thru the customs and board a mini bus. den got this hotel guy dressed in sarong came and drive the bus. left the place called waterfront city and came to the hotel.. holiday inn batam. the lobby was damn grand sia. got this plant in the middle dats is like 2 storeys tall and got fire crackers all over it. realli nice. den all over the place is marble.

checked in to the family suite. sian its on the ground floor. but inside was kinda spacious lor. one living room, one kitchen, two bedrooms and two toilets. two television sets available.. after checking in did practically nth.. jus watched tv lor. got mediacorp stations there. haha took a bath den had a free buffet dinner(which wld hav cost $150+). the food was okay lar. den while eating still got live band perform lor. the band are indonesians but they sang hokkien songs den oso got sing xiao wei. after dinner went for back massage. the atmosphere was very gd.. went into the room den got the scent and soothing music. haha only massaged for 30 minutes only.. was quite nice lar. after dat went to play snooker with my bro. $5 for 2 hours lidat. its like the pple dun care how long we play lar. while in singapore it wld have cost $6.50 per hour. den there's no age limit there lor. the pple there jus close one eye unlike the lady behind the american billiard counter in btp....... haiz... return to hotel at 1am(batam time lagged singapore time by an hour) and slept.

second day more activities.. woke up and had free buffet breakfast. food was not bad. den did nth until about 2pm lidat. took a 30 minutes taxi ride to a place called nagoya. went to a place called lucky plaza and had fish and chips.. haha den walked to another nearby shopping center called center point.. saw some interesting stuff lar.. its like candles shaped in the shape of numbers. i dunno if dat is interesting but i have not seen them b4.. seriously.. thot of buying them for yw and val but alas. dun hav the number 1 and 2 de. ji dumb. took a black cab back to holiday inn at 5pm lidat. den studied some chinese dynasties for an hour..

took a bath and went for dinner at some chinese restaurant called dragon inn restaurant. only the boss himself noes how to speak chinese... not bad lar.. the food was cheap compared to the buffet thing. at nite went for pool. same price.. $5 for 2 hours+.

third day had free buffet breakfast again. den went for some last minute snooker. 1 hour for $5. after dat packed up and prepared to leave for singapore le. haah the trip to batam was very relaxing lar. the hotel staff were god damn polite lar. i realli dunno how to describe but you wont expect such good attitude leh.. haha and its realli nice to jus stay within the hotel and relax.. haha yea kinda addicted to dat place le. hope to go there again...

today went to 2nd aunt's hse to bai nian. had sort of a reunion dinner... 4th aunt and family oso came den my ah mah came back from old folks home.. was so glad to see her lor. haha played mahjong but lost lar. den played blackjack and stuff lidat but all lost! haha heck lar. wad matter was dat i have fun.. haha sian. but now beginning to worry about my tests next wk.. haha haven realli started revision. shall dedicate the whole of tmr for mugging...

k lar dun feel like blogging anymore le. bye bye peeps...
