Back from Ubin

dats rite i'm back from obs.. haha to be frank i dun find it fun, but it wasnt not fun either.. jus a normal camp lor. but anyway, shall tok abt the 5 day journey...

Monday
We set off from sch and reached punggol jetty. den we waited under the sun for like 30 minutes b4 the ferry came. den grp by grp we board the ferry.. haha oh yar some pple from residential became mobile in the last minute.. haha these pple mus be damn lucky bah.. den we reached ubin and were assembled in our grps. each grp was given a new name. my grp name was non other than the founder of singapore, Raffles. haha still got some other grp names like nila utama, dagama, costeau, cook, columbus, raleigh, shackleton, tenzing, hilary, blah blah blah. all like damn gl de. den we got to me our grp instructor, kelvin chua better known as deedee. haha lol he a damn nice and cool guy except dat he always mix up r with l de, like frying fox or charrenges. and he like to repeat certain phrases like trust me, it happened before, as an outdoor leader, gf gone fishing, jus wan to share with you, cool? haha

after taking grp photo and a short briefing, we went to sort out our dry rations and take out our tents from the store. btw i was given the role of an i/c, except dat i was in charge of trash. den had dry food as lunch, before we pitched out tents by the beach. after dat was a minor expedition on our kayaks, jus to give pple like me hu dunno how to kayak a first hand experience. hah. after kayaking we washed up and had dinner. dinner sucks lar. someone did not took care of the rice and in the end we had hard, crunchy and sticky rice. luckily me dy and tobias managed to kope a can of chicken curry, so 3 of us shared the rice and curry, which in the end wasnt very filling. at nite dat was a debrief for the day b4 we all went back to slp in our tents.

yea dats all for day 1. haha will continue writing but mus stop for now cos got sth on. later still got carp. haha stay tuned!
