Friday was an amazing day lol

Projects Day 2005 Semi Finals Judging

s.c.r.e.w.e.d. The judges were gohyy and leefy. A lot of loop holes in our project. We dun even noe the specific name of our fungi. we dunno how to test it on wad living organism. lol we dunno everything, dats why chances of getting into finals is damn slim.

in the afternoon went for the heritage tour. I think its meant to be a recap of wad we had learnt the previous year when we visited the same heritage center at novena. haha looked thru the hist of the police force.. wad happened during the jap occupation and the modernisation of the force. den got one reli spastic traffic officer called yusof. and got one guy hu was on strike look like ningfei. lol other than dat the trip was okay lar, altho i din learn anything much

after we were dismissed went with yz yh and wilson to UE square to buy drinks for initiation nite. haha yz was like so badly screwed by kala cos he din pass the message to inform pple of the initiation nite. but anyway after buying five 1.5l bottles, 18 packet drinks and 12 can drinks we took mrt to newton and den taxi back to hwachong cos 171 was packed.

went np room to pack the food prizes. den went to bball court to play a bit of bball. after dat went poolside to hav dinner.

after dinner we move the food prizes to lt2. scanned the cds to make sure its suitable for screening.. den afterwards sec 1 arrived le. haa me yz and wilson went out to prepare the telematch den yh stayed inside to grp the sec 1s.

here's how the telematch went. we had the sec 1s spin arnd a pole 5 times clockwise and 5 times anticlockwise. den run to a plate of flour at the other end. den they have to dig with their mouth for puzzle pieces. each grp collects 16 puzzle pieces, put them together, do a cheer and win.

haha it went quite well lar. but some grps have got missing pieces. lol definitely not our prob cos either some other group took them or the pieces were among the flour which was displaced. but we were able to picked up the first 3 grps lar. the last 3 grps were determined thru zhong ji mi ma and scissors paper stone.. -_-". after dat the prizes were given out and the yhad 10 minutes to eat. dats all abt initiation nite lor.

after dat the sec 1s had movie screening. they watched chucky. haha but got 9 of them dun dare to watch. so they had a nice chat with us. lol. we all went to oei tiong ham hall there and tok to them abt solo nite.. haha told them the places to avoid based on our experiences. den later brot them arnd the sch to show them where it is most advisable to be stationed at. after the walk returned to lt2 and solo nite began.

haha was glad dat we were given the chance to station the sec 1s and patrol. haha we got the part of the sch where the stories were most concentrated... its from the table tennis area downwards.. the canteen, bball and squash courts, judo rm, kkh. shld say we were quite kind lar, placed some of them in britely lit areas. but pls lor, some of the places even 4 of us were scared lar. cant be so saddistic go place them there mah. and for the canteen we placed 3 cadets. lol one guy kip walking arnd. dunno he scared or wad..

after dat began patrolling. at first me and wilson din wan to play tricks on them de. haha but dunno why we suddenly began doing so.. threw rocks, drop empty can drinks, turn on and off the toilet lite switches, splash water of the floor, etc.. den oso tried the traditional ah di gui diam liao, or giving the wrong code.. haha think we were quite lame and a bit saddistic bah. lol promised i will try not to do it again nxt yr if i even got the chance to do it again....

after solo nite had evaluation and we went to slp le. haha it was a fun nite.. like i told edmund.. it wasnt abt playing tricks on the sec 1s, but its the feeling of being ncos, something which was a totally fresh experience for us. the telematch was completely organised and conducted by us. and we were given the chance to take solo nite too. hah think 4 of us all learnt alot abt handling the juniors.. which will definitely help us when we take over. haha personally i cant wait to take over le. ncc already did so, scouts will too very soon. but anyway, i'm glad i chose to stay overnite yesterday.

took 171 home from sch this morning at 6.45 with yh. reached home, had breakfast, bathed and left home again for the open hse thing. lol reached sch at abt 8.35. yixin was the ic for the pioneering... haha was kinda shocked attendance wasnt taken since quite a lot of pple pon. den some of us were slacking.. some reading books. only a few were making the bench. so the end-product was completed in like 2 hours. haha looks like a road-block, quite unstable and can only seat 2 pple. lol but i think it was not bad le, considering dat we had limited spars.

haha had a fun start to the wkend. but uptill now only done geog w/s.. gotta suffer for the rest of the wkend le.. nxt wk is track and field finals. too bad cant go cck stadium and cheer. think last yr wld be the last yr liao. again was glad dat i was dere last yr, at the national stadium, cheering in the rain among the sea of hwachong pple, while all the other schs went for shelter. lol it jus goes to show how strong our sch spirit is.
