wednesday was aphelion's consortium assembly. during pcme mr joseph sim played a short video clip which i find quite meaningful. it goes sth like this:

the value of time
to realise the value of a year, ask a woman who had just been diagnosed with cancer
to realise the value of a month, ask the parents of a prematured baby
to realise the value of a week, ask a news magazine reporter
to realise the value of a day, ask a daily wage worker
to realise the value of an hour, ask two lovers
to realise the value of a minute, ask a man who had missed the last train home
to realise the value of a second, ask a person who survived a car accident
to realise the value of a millisecond, ask an athlete who came in second in a race. Or ask the champion.


time is indeed precious.
