Jul 2004 - my mom went for medical check-up. nth was discovered
Apr 2005 - mom was reminded to go for check-up again. but she didnt went
Early aug 2005 - mom finally went for check-up, after realising dat her tummy gets bigger and bigger
8 aug 2005 - the report was out. mom had a tumour growing on her ovary which contain cancer cells
9 aug 2005 - mom took laxative and had a real bad day
10 aug 2005 - mom was on the operation table. altho the op was a success, the cancer cells hav spread.
15 aug 2005 - mom was discharged. she began taking potato juice and grasswheat drink
5 sep 2005 - mom went for 1st chemotherapy session
20 sep 2005 - the chemotherapy did not work. mom admitted into hospital again due to too much waste water collecting in the stomach. 1.5l of water was drained, 3l left
21 sep 2005 - mom was discharged
25 sep 2005 - mom shaved her hair
27 sep 2005 - mom went for 2nd chemotherapy session
18 oct 2005 - the 2nd chemotherapy did not work again. mom went for check-up and the doc suggested changing the medicine
19 oct 2005 - mom went to sgh to consult another doc. doc arranged for her to hav the most advanced chemo in singapore. arranged date = 24 oct. success rate = 50%

yea dats all. hopefully this time it will be successful. afterall the session alone cost $4000, twice as much as previous sessions. luckily there's insurance to susidise the cost. anyway the doc says my mom's cancer began as early as 20 yrs ago. veh complicated, veh hard to cure.. but he also said dat it was not due to genetical heredity, it was not passed from the past generation, nor will it pass to the nxt generation..

anyway may god bless her. cancer is not a terminal illness
