today was agm.. logistics was the worst screwed by ho i guess.. think its becos of the bad impression he hav of our dept. but anyways, agm....

comments/tough questions by ho: (too many, shall jus list some)
1. slide 3 - "you dun nid to say you got dept meeting on when or wad, trying to show pple logistics is enthu, but all i wan is the results of the meeting"
2. slide 5 - "how are the 15 cadets selected? you mean you can just choose randomly and (blah blah blah..)?"
3. slide 6 - "you said one cadet claimed his missing item in term 3, but you only send 1 email, so how was the cadet informed in term 3?" "specify the date lar, from when till when, not just up till now"
4. slide 9 - "the first look at this shirt shows that the letters are broken"
5. slide 14 - (loads of ____ about the trophy stock check, wasnt reli paying attention then)
6. slide 16 - "unit tshirts design to be confirmed, printed AND distributed"
7. slide 17 - "spring means chun jie, so spring cleaning shld be held b4 chinese new year" "sec 4s shld set a good example by being involved" =.=

compliments from ho:
1. "there is something good about their presentation, all of you shld learn from them. when you present problems and solutions, ............"

lol. operations was lucky, creativity was almost flawless. publications was lucky too, cos the tone ho used was like a mentor trying to improve his mentee's project, thus explaining to them carefully and concisely wad his ideas were. was feeling quite bad, until the compliments from mr tancw:
1. "logistics... good presentation"
2. "this is the best log department i've seen in the past 3 years"
3. "logistics wasnt very welcomed initially, but chongchen did a good job"

think he's trying to encourage us to work harder, and not be disappointed by ho's words. but anyways, i was shivering when he said the above 3 lines, feeling kinda awkward. we were jus doing wad we are supposed to do to the best of our ability, which cldnt hav been poss without the help of the log members and trng dept as well as others squadmates.. then again, for this meeting reli hav to thank two pple: mr tancw and chaorong, who stood up for us several times, defending us from ho.

after agm minyang went arnd asking the sec 2s the dept of their choice. lol. as far as we noe there were at least 5 pple putting log as 1st. one was begging calvin to put him in log. these pple made a mistake; logistics is not as slack as it seems.
