campcraft com prelims is finally over.


well i think daryl has well summarised everything in his blog entry.. but anyways, yesterday had been a long day for me.. reached sch at 6.45, saw the team 1 pple went for a full pitch. at 7.10 we left sch for PA, pretty soon we were standing at the side of the competition pitch. team 1 was in the drill shed. then we saw team 1 coming towards the pitch. we went forward to wish them gd luck for the last time.

then they went. me, chuankhim, yinghao, chaorong, yizhi and tancw were watching. everything was going fine, then, 2 minutes into the competition i heard chaorong shouting 'wad is dexter doing?' so i looked, dexter was standing up, looking at the wci incharge of their lot,

update: hmm well i stopped halfway yesterday becos my bro was staring rite into the screen while i was bloggin... haha well in case you dunno i dun like to blog in other ppl's presence.. still rmb when i was in sec 2 there was once i blogged in the com lab. it was only 5 or 10 minutes, but at least 3 pple had stood behind my chair to see wad i was typing.. hahah its a weird feeling larh. but for me blogging is abt reflecting wad had happened and spitting out all the things in ur head. yup so i usually blog when i'm alone.. can think better mah...


but anyway, to continue where i was at.. dexter was standing up, looking at the wci incharge of their lot, looking very stunned. then yize stood up too and it appears that the two were arguing with the wci (aminah) over sth.. after a while the argument stopped, the pitch continued..


at that moment i did not sense anything wrong. was only puzzled at wad dexter and yize were doing. chaorong yinghao chuankhim and myself persistently shouted 'go hwachong! hwachong jiayou!'


the pitch ended. the team left the lot. the shelter was unfinished, but the gadget and flagstaff looked fine.. it wasnt until the team 1 left the pitch, fall in outside the pitch, walked back to drill shed, then back to the carpark b4 i realised wad had gone wrong.


well now that the competition is over, there is reli nth much we can do abt it. but it was reli a pity bah, team 1 is considered better of the 2 teams i guess, yet they had to be allocated the first detail, lot number 2, and aminah. its jus not fair. both team has trained hard, but it so happen that the worst situation of all happens, one that came unexpected as well..


but then again. its not that there aint any chance that team 1 wont make it to the finals.. they had got their sturctures up, the organisers promised to look into the issue.. and 4 years ago the ccc team did not finish their structures as well, but they still managed to get into finals.. yup so theres still a bit of hope i guess bah. lets pray that team 1 will get into finals along with team 2.. yup cos i reli reli x 1000000^{100000000^[1000000^(1000000^1000000)]} hope that both teams can make it lor... afterall we are one hwachong team. we train together, we go for competition together, we must win together!

for team 2's pitch it was satisfactory i guess. yup we finished everything under 8.. we had 2 minutes to fix things up. yup. altho every1 was quite demoralised by the incident in the morning, team 2 still did it. perhaps its becos we wanted to avenge team 1, we wanted to give it our best shot, as daryl puts it. yes. cos they totally dun deserve to lose. schools that deserve to lose are those who jus sits down the whole 10 minutes and ended up with no flagstaff, no gadget, no nothing.


we put up a good performance bah. yongwei minyang and jiahan were the only 3 from team 1 who stayed back to support us, not to mention yizhi and mr tan. yup we were reli thankful for that..


results will be out 2 wks later bah.. cant wait for the results le. meanwhile shall reli pray for hwachong ccc team...

after the event few of us went for dinner. no more poolside, this time its pastamania! tancw's treat! lol


reached home at 10.30. 16 hours outdoors, but it had been a reli nice day.. especially when the ccc team was back in sch at 12+pm.. we were jus sitting down, talking cock, singing songs, yea things like this reli bond the team together..


back to school today, got loads of stuff going on.. sec 1 camp planning is going on fine.. lokelf had been very kind to us. haha yup she was asking me how many ncos will be involved, i say arnd 10. then her reply was 'are you siaoooooo?'. LOL. the way she say siaooooo was very.. english lor! hahaha hard to describe.. bah.


jiayou hwachong ccc team! we can make it!! =) =) =) =) =) =D
