BATCH 37 PASSING OUT PARADE 2006

The event was held last wednesday, and in case you dunno, batch 37 is our batch..

b4 that had use your hands and collection of term progress reports, our class did so badly this term seck didnt want to reveal our position in the level, neither did she tell us our position in class. i did slightly better than i expected, got an msg of 2.8, though i expected >3.0.

went to oei tiong ham hall for the lunch reception, saw cheewee there. he smiled at me la. >.>

went back to classroom to change to full u (for the last time) > went to conference rm to put bag > waited for wilson who twisted his wrist > went to lt2 for the ceremony.

saw the photo montage, quite nicely done i think. then the official handover, speeches.. bla bla. pple say the ceremony is screwed up, but i think its quite ok la. sidney did a great job at emceeing. besides the technical fault, the ceremony went well, albeit abit disorganised.

proceeded to drill shed for the presentation of certificates. then received the present from the sec 1 squad! thank you sec 1s! =D

after that went to clock tower for photo taking.. after all the squads left came the finale. we fall in in front of the clock tower. was expecting dayong or yize to give the last keluar baris, but turns out that HO was the one.

had a hand-shaking cum farewell session, the CIs and HO went arnd shaking hands, saying bye, telling us to come back and save the unit. lol. bulls.. yea. jonathan was super lame. he told everyone the same thing: 'good job'. kk. by then it started to rain. so they all went back to clock tower, only HO stayed in the rain with us. then he pumped us 10, for fun de. after pumping my right arm cramp. lol.

then he gave basurai (dunno how to spell), we all do then throw beret! lol

and that was the end of passing out parade. HO wants me to come back as CI! walao. but i dun wan! see how la..

received gifts from chuan khim, sidd and felix, and the sec 1s! thank you soo much!





















there. got the nicely wrapped bowling bag from the sec1s, the lovely cactus from sidd and felix, and the tag from chuan khim! The MC (membership cert) at the side. haha thanks guys!

went causeway point after pop to buy teachers day gift. but we went there quite late le. so most shops closed. bought the small gay bottles from popular, intending to fold stars and write messages and put them into the bottles.

went home and started folding straw stars.. did that for 2 hours, finished writing the messages for 6 teachers only at 2.15.






















straw stars ^ but i didnt fold those, forgot to take picture of wad i did for the teachers. these are done by my brother, only the middle yellow-and-green one was folded by me.






















there.. stars packed in a bottle. that one was done by my brother last year for mother's day gift. this time i used the smaller bottle on the left, the one containing saga seeds, which i did for my mom last year ^_^

sometimes it makes me wonder whether doing all these for the teachers is worth it. lol. probably they will think i bought the whole thing together with the bottle and the stars and the macaroni. then they will chug it aside or put it on their table and forget abt it. then when you go to college they will totally forget about you. if you go back and visit them during teachers day they will pretend they hav an impression of you but cldnt recall ur name. when you tell them ur name they will go 'oh! CHONG CHEN rite! yar i rmb u!' -.- yea yea. at least the primary sch teachers still rmb me, though i changed alot. (you see the two npcc pop photos. i'm the one with the stone face in the 2006 photo, and the first from the left on the 2nd row in the 2003 one) yea, i'm grateful for that.. at least.

yea yea, after that printed the teachers day shit cards for weilun, did that until 2.45, woke my mom up accidentally, so got scolded by her for working late.

teachers day celebrations this year was much better compared to last year. haha the kick boxing guy is a j0ke! lol! super farni! bravo for his courage to perform on stage tho.

went back to bpps! at first sch dun let us in. they hired eric, the security guard, to keep ex-students out of the compound.





















bala very smart. open the blardi sch for 1 hour and expect 200+ students to go in and visit teachers. but anyway, back to eric, he very gl, ask us to call principal if we want to go in, so i ask him for principal's number, he say call the sch, if still cannot call 999. lol. got link.

luckily got ms tan, who is of higher authority than eric. so we called her to come out and meet us.. haha she slimed down le, first time see her wearing skirt.. too bad bryan ong still too busy to come meet us.. passed her the presents and had a nice chat. but the class size was quite pathetic. lets see.. jo meisiew shuhui xinying wangshu friedemann arnold shuteng ian yinghao honghui yongwei danny and myself. hwachong dominates again. belak!

kk.. weekend's here, time to CHIONG for the 2 tests next monday!
