there was cca meeting yesterday to discuss financial issues and other problems the ccas are facing.
before that we drafted out a financial report to estimate our expenditure in a year such that we can show the teachers and actually ask for more money to be allocated to us.
but alas, right at the start of the meeting mr terng spoke to us abt money allocation, quoting statistics such as 3 years ago, the money each cca gets is probably one quarter of what we are getting now..
hmm. 3 years ago, GST was still 4% though.
oh and mr ang was so shuang kuai in promising the performing arts group that he will buy new pianos..
wonder wad he'd say if we asked for a bowling alley. haha.

but the thing abt bowling is that its not exactly a sports cca; we dont expect people to come down to enjoy the aircon and cheer for us as we roll the balls down the lane..
and its definitely not performing arts too, for the same reason
and i think people dont realise how expensive the sport is
today naizeng asked me how much a bowling ball costs
i told him the one i bought is one of the cheapest and its $180
he was very shocked, and he went on to ask how much does those 'bottles' (pins) cost
haha.. apparently the level of awareness towards bowling is very low..
fret not, inter-ct bowling comp is coming your way! =)

boring thursday, when we have all P C M and E in one day..
mr yeow was so funny during lecture! heh.
oh and douglas told me in math lecture today that he wasnt awarded any CIP hours after he quitted interact.
ahh. means i've probably wasted half a year in interact.
or maybe not, unless my tutoring had been useless for the kids..
if they are benefiting from my tutoring at least i'm happy to be able to contribute.. even if it means i get no cip hours =)

chem remedials today was imba!
it was from 2.15 to 4.30, i sat through the 2 hours and learnt a lot of things!
mr loy was sleep-inducing but at least he cleared my doubts =)
oh and after the remedials i went canteen to buy icecream and got scammed by the machine twice!
$2 gone just to watch the machine suck air. arghh.
