gahh i just woke up.
got enrolled into 1star kayaking along with quite a few of my classmates.
kayaking is fun!
thats why i signed up although i already have a 2star cert =)
i still rmb eskimo's bow! but that was like 3 years ago when we took the course.
and ever since, i havent stepped into a kayak except during obs.
time passes horribly fast..

speaking of kayaking, it was during the 2004 LEAP that the squad went for 1star and 2star kayaking.
i'm really glad wad npcc has done to me.
had i not joined npcc i would probably have joined some indoor ccas like chess or art club.
yea some pple may think we're stupid becos we join a cca just to stand under the sun and march.
but thats a fallacy! there's more to it than wad pple see..
we learnt alot, many hard skills but even more soft skills..
i really feel that npcc has shaped me into a different person.
i rmb when i was in sec 1 i was still so childish and bad-tempered
after 4 years i've grown.. a more daring, more patient, less self-centered person.
comradery, backstabbing, working relations, perseverance..
npcc has allowed me to meet some great pple in my life too.. those who came and went but left a mark in my life.
these pple are to me a source of inspiration. inspiration to press on in times of hardship, inspiration to challenge new boundaries, inspiration to do your bit for the school and the unit.

to sum it up, i have never, ever regretted joining npcc.
